Folie À Plusieurs — Norwegian Wood
Folie À Plusieurs — Norwegian Wood
Eau de Parfum
Unfolding memories of Summer, Fall & Winter.
Innocence, love and loss.
Smell the feeling of loss and the flourishing sexuality of youth in the 1960s with this fragrance created in response to Haruki Murakami’s 1987 novel Norwegian Wood.
This floral woody musk reads as deceptively simple but unfolds on skin with a gorgeous peculiarity now nearly synonymous with Mark Buxton’s name. Opening impressions give an electric dried rose and impossibly smooth (buttery/fattened) whiskey. Upon dry down, the richly complex woody musk emerges. This part of the formula might cause some to consider Norwegian Wood a skin scent. It requires fairly close range to truly comprehend. Perhaps this was precisely Buxton’s aim. At a distance, you can perceive only the flower, already in its fragrant but final form, but when close enough to touch, Norwegian Wood surges with the deep vitality of mysterious love.
Hand-painted bottle with unique coloration and markings.
