EMPLOYMENT

  • PART-TIME FLORAL DESIGN & RETAIL ASSOCIATES

We are currently seeking applicants with prior floral experience. Candidates without hands-on floral experience will not be considered at this time. Studio experience is strongly preferred, and retail floral experience is a plus.

We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in contemporary design and a thoughtful curiosity about aesthetics—both in florals and in the objects we carry. Ideal candidates are warm, articulate communicators who value meaningful, attentive interactions with customers. Care and intention in customer experience is central to our work.

Field & Florist Division operates as a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In addition to floral design and customer service, responsibilities include a range of daily operational tasks such as coordinating delivery routes, managing compost and waste, organizing inventory, packing arrangements, cleaning vessels and buckets, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. This role requires a willingness to contribute to all aspects of daily shop operations. We value candidates who take initiative and are willing to engage in the less visible, behind-the-scenes work that supports the customer-facing experience. Organization, efficiency, time management, communication, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset are necessary in this environment.

While we respect the diversity of approaches within floral design, this role involves learning and working within Field & Florist’s established aesthetic. Consistency across daily shop work and event design is essential. Attention to detail, openness to feedback, and a strong desire to learn are critical for growth within the team.

This position intended for individuals interested in long-term growth as floral designers.

We maintain a strictly inclusive and respectful workplace and do not tolerate discrimination of any kind.
