Series 3: Incense

Zagorsk is light, a bit melancholic, the smell of Russian monasteries placed in endless snowy planes, the odor of light birch, dark pine tree woods, and northern red forest fruits.

Mysterious and gorgeous. Somewhere between a carrot and wet stones in a sancutuary of pines and incense. In the middle, a healing herb emerges, bringing with it a sense of vivid, peaceful and cavernous spatial dimension. Someone else wrote that this fragrance gave them a clear image of “monks living alone in the forest” which feels spot on.
