Eau de Parfum

Since Mizu means water, you might expect this fragrance from Di Ser to be an aquatic and it is, but with a very unique orientation. We would argue that it’s less a salty ozonic affair and more a cold stream rushing down a mountain next to a field of yuzu. Along the way the current brushes against a delicate flow of jasmine, boronia, rosemary, lemon and tonka bean. Fruity, sweet and neat but refreshed by a clean herbal depth.

“Here, the opening features a juicy, life-like yuzu note that is presented in tandem with a little lemon to highlight the bright, sunny aspects of yuzu. Anchoring these citrus fruits is a lemony boronia. This Australian flowering bush has purple flowers that have a distinctive lemony citrus note as well as stems and stalks that have a subtle minty note amidst their grassy greenness. This note is fairly unusual in perfumery and it’s use here is both incredibly skillful and briliant. Boronia allows the citrus notes to linger much longer than they otherwise would in a fixative-free fragrance and combines with the abundant rosemary to create a woody note.” — Akscent, Fragrantica

We are honored to offer these incredibly rare natural fragrances from Di Ser at Field & Florist’s downtown Chicago location in the Monadnock Building. (MAP)
