Faux Flora is a sensorial depiction of a plant’s life cycle displayed through human milestones, exhibited and premiered at the National Nordic Museum. The plant life cycle—germination, growth, flowering, seed formation, and seed dispersal—is thus superimposed on the life cycle of a human–birth, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and death. Faux Flora springs from universal experiences, creating mythical flowers that are otherworldly yet familiar.
Explore each stage of Faux Flora through our new Discovery Set featuring 8 ml vials of the new fragrances featured in the exhibition. Each are hand-crafted and hand-poured in Iceland and accompanied by limited edition cards that feature works of art by Co-Founder and Creative Director Ingibjörg Birgisdottir and scented poems that transport you through the scent.
