Folie À Plusieurs — Solitude is Bliss
Eau de Parfum
A Point Of Reflection, Shape-shifter, Paradox.
If I were to judge this fragrance based on the listed notes, I may have passed it by. I’m grateful that I didn’t because it became one of my most worn fragrances of the last year. One might expect fruity floral, but the top notes are incredibly nuanced in the formula. Each element contributes to a finely articulated shroud that hovers on top of a soft and lightly animalic base. It has surprising sillage and is deeply comforting.
There’s a gentle quality to the way this wears — it definitely lives up to its name. It’s a fragrance for the everyday that has both drawn me into myself and caused strangers to ask me what I’m wearing.
Hand-painted bottle with unique coloration and markings.
NOTES
bergamot
mandarin
cedrat
green apple
orange blossom
ginger
animalic musk
oakmoss
tonka bean
cedar
musk
