Kitowa — Hiba

from $8.00

Eau de Parfum

Each eau de parfum from Kitowa is inspired by a different majestic tree native to Japan. The base of each is the rich concentrated oil from its namesake with hints of complementary luxury aromatic oils. The result is a line of impeccably designed fragrances that exude a modern, calm, focused composure imbued with the depth of sacred history.

Aomori Hiba is one of the most beautiful tree species in Japan. Within Hiba (white cedar leaf), Tatsushi Horita contrasts the profound, warm and woody aroma with the breeziness of pine needle and tea tree to conjure the feeling of being inside a cozy home built using the wood. On skin these elements are met with the sweet warmth of tonka bean and amber which expand as keynotes upon dry down. Kitowa fragrances use alcohol derived from sugar cane plants, which also offers a mellow and mild aroma to this composition. Hiba is blended with hiba oil produced in Aomori Prefecture.

Field & Florist is honored to offer Kitowa fragrances in the United States for the first time.
