Nasomatto — Baraonda
Extrait de Parfum
Bourbon fragrances are a dime a dozen, and trust me, I make it a point to not carry loose change. Truthfully, I’d rather have a gin martini while smelling like an indescribable alien.
With that said, I’m obsessed with Baraonda. It has all the makings of something I would typically avoid. Instead, I ponder how it unfolds for hours. It makes no sense to me. There is a surprising fullness here — a round
and syrupy quality on my skin. But its richness and decadence feel earned, easy and unencumbered by their own heft. The sum of Baraonda’s dense parts is a sturdy composition that feels as complex and beautiful as it does inevitable. It’s not reaching for its references, it carries them within.
