Hilde Soliani

A theatrical performer, painter and jewellery designer, Hilde Soliani established her line of perfumes to celebrate her joie de vivre and the artistic creativity of her world. In her small laboratory in Parma, Hilde uses time-honored methods to create scents that are as traditional as they are strikingly contemporary. From radiant florals to the atmospheric blends inspired by theatre, each scent is a unique piece of art, a fascinating play in Soliani’s elegant Teatro Olfattivo Parma.

From her grandmother she took her nose and brilliant/eclectic mind which led her to a radical choice. Over 15 years ago, after 20 years as a marketing consultant she returned to her old love, the theatre. It is then that she started to design jewels, an old family art, and make perfumes.

But this isn’t what makes her unique. It’s the way in which she does it. For Soliani every fragrance has a meaning, it recalls a memory, a feeling, a seemingly forgotten moment. A lack to be filled with perfume. Hilde’s perfumes are about nostalgia, desire, illusion.
