Okuhida is a region at the base of the Northern Alps in Japan famous for its hot springs, and especially so for its rotemburo (outdoor baths) offering unbelievable views of the surrounding mountains. Five onsen towns have developed along its valleys, each with its own unique character and hot spring water, as they are fed from different hot spring sources.⁣

We’re excited to carry Yunohana Onsen Powder from this region. Composed of 100% natural minerals from Mt. Yakedake, an active volcano with highly concentrated mineral hot springs, adding one or two spoonfuls of this unscented, mineral rich powder to any home bath not only turns the water a beautiful milky white, but offers a relaxing skin-smoothing soak like a proper Japanese onsen.
