Series 3: Incense

Named after the ancient ‘Golden City’ situated in north-western India, in Rajasthan. In ancient times, Jaisalmer was on the route between India and Egypt where traders transported ebony — a main note in the fragrance. Red hot pepper is mixed with aromatic warm cinnamon and cardamom. The incense here is spicy, woodsy and earthy.
