Eris Parfums — Belle de Jour
Eris Parfums — Belle de Jour
Eau de Parfum
Belle de Jour blooms with notes of orange flower and jasmine accented with coriander. It dries down to a sensuous base of incense, musks, and the depth of a surprising seaweed absolute.
“Belle de Jour is a study in contrasts: a very luminous floral that is salty, sexy and dirty.” — Antoine Lie, Perfumer
Taking its name from Luis Buñuel’s classic 1967 film, this floral animalic is
a complicated fantasy of desire. At once both abundantly blooming and misted with a briny haze of sea air on a sharp, craggy coast. The salty skin after a day in the sun with references to the golden age of vintage fragrance before the regime of CK1 threatened to flatten the world of perfume with the “clean and innocuous” office scents that dominated the 90s. The result is a gorgeous juxtaposition to navigate.
