“it’s extremely unique - I’ve rarely smelled anything else that I would consider close to this. Very intense, but great if you love these type of “authentic fire” scents, which I do. Although juniper’s listed in the top notes, it smells a lot like full on cade oil. As it progresses, it actually gets a bit sweeter in the middle phase. The osmanthus gives it an apricot-like lightness on top of the smokey woods, like an opening in a clearing with some sun filtering in. As it dries down, it stays smokey but in more of a “drinking a glass of gingerale next to a wooden log burning in a fireplace” type of way. I love it from start to finish!” — wst, Fragrantica
