Destruction of precious santalwood. Construction with rose oxyde. Creation with Comme Des Garçons’ spice signature.
One might assume, given the name, that Concrete would smell (at least
in some way) like the material. This is Comme des Garçons, so it doesn’t. Instead, CDG has focused in on the world of activity surrounding the material. Building and destruction in the urban environment. The lives being lived amidst it all. The rose oxide here gives a brief impression of grape bubblegum or other candy chewed by someone you pass. A confluence of powdery florals follow. Later, a building site is cutting plywood.
Butch, ultra-hip, unique, confounding, fascinating. These are all words that have been used to describe this scent. Let’s face it, living in the city is often as chaotic as it is full of wonderful surprises. Are you open to them?
