Fans have speculated that this fragrance takes its name from the first iteration of London’s exclusive Chinawhite nightclub (closed in 2008). Others suggest that it is named in reference to a certain powdery substance synonymous with afterhours and dancefloors. In typical Nasomatto fashion, we will never know. What can be said is that China White articulates a complex powdery floral with hints of pure charcoal on drydown — a stark counterpoint to Black Afgano.
